updates...

it's been awhile... The Noise Park Activities Tape is out you can buy it from us in person or go to their myspace page and grab it there for $3.
We may be holding off on shows for a while because I've been without a car since we got back from the tour (((BUT))) maybe not. all depends on how things go.
Joel has been playing guitar for the Melted Cassettes and I have been working on a little side project named 'thismachinecontrolsyou' so there's 2 things to check out if you didn't already know.
That's all i got for you for now. we'll be writing and recording very soon because we can't stay sill for too long. keep in touch with us. you KNOW how much we LOVE YOU.

...Tour

So the tour started off a bit rocky, between lack of promotion, the absents of local support, andwhat seems to be a compleate lack of caring how the show turns out, (Ricky Genes, The Joephine). But that's to be expected. We've also met a lot of really cool people along the way. We're now driving to Denver and the last few shows have been tons of fun, if you exclude geting sucker punched in the face by some random, drunken, potato fed asshole from Boise. suprisingly enough they're is a rather lage "scene" in Idaho... as swell as Montana, tow spots you would regularly expected it. We were we'll taken at grandma's house and fully taken care of by The Thug Nasties (not at all what the name inplies). Portland as a whole wasn't as great as we expected (though they're we tons of topless girls walking the streets, apparently public nudity is compleatly legal) but, like few of the other places we've been, we we're trated with the up-most respect by the bartenders and promoter. The first week was hell with only two shows in califoina, but at the same time it was alright because we got to catch up with an old friend and see the "sights". Coming in to this tour we we're estatic to be playing new venues and to new people, witch has been good, but we miss the trunk space and all the local regulars. we'll see you all again before too long.

van.......

the van died last night. it's sad. the tour may be canceled if we don't figure something out. and to top it all off i watched 'what we do is secret' and it just further depressed me.

Tap(e!) Update

okay, the recordings for the Noise Park Release are done (hence the new songs on the myspace) and sent. It's out of our hands now. For those of you who don't own a cassette player (where's your good old fashion cassette culture???), L.S.R. will be releasing a CD soon too. I don't think it will be any of the same songs but it will all be noise. So, Joel and I will be recording here shortly for that, i mean, we only have a month before we get on the road... so it should be soon. Keep an eye out for both releases at:
noise park activities, liberal squid, and interpunk

CD/TAPE

So, it's taking a little longer than expected to finish up the new full length and record the Tape.
Originally the Tape (to be released on Austria based record label Noise Park Activities) was going to be recorded live at the Trunk Space on 4/20 but due to a blow out on the van we we're not able to make it. BUT rest assured, the tape will be out soon, as well as the new double CD full length that you all are waiting on.
Shirts will be done too, just waiting on money. Speaking of, if you are in the market for any screen printing services, hit us up. We'll do it at a reasonable cost.

You Know I Love You,
Nate Palm

Friends....

So, we basically started from nothing and it's almost been a year since the first Bolt! show. so this is all i want to say, "THANK YOU!" We've made so many friends along the way and been introduced to many, many great bands (both local and far/wide). So really, thank you all, and if we haven't met yet i hope the day is soon. Come to a show and just say, "Hi, you suck." We're grateful for you all who helped us on the way to wherever it is that we may be headed, (don't hold us to this but there's talk of being signed soon, I don't think it's time say what label yet but we're putting our asses out there) AND NOT TO WORRY,(like you were) we aren't "selling out" to a major.
Anyways, let me get to what i got on this to say... here are some bands that we have been blessed with the presents of and have helped us out. Check them out! You won't regret it.
Thank you Elmo Kirkwood of Kirkwood Dellinger. Without him we wouldn't be, he taught Joel how to play guitar... and a few other things from what i heard. haha. Also The Skinwalkers for the numerous show they have got for us. Father's Day for teaching us not to give a fuck. No Babies for giving us the inspiration to do this up-coming tour and Abstract Artimus for doing it with us. RAW indie Press for praising us. JJCNV for being all around great everything! The Tics for showing us what pure awesomeness is. Umm, we'll... the list goes on and on but I'm tired of doing this. Sorry, I really thought I had it in me.
By the way, I'll get Joel on here soon.

What THE FUCKS Going ON!?!?!

The new record is in the works. i think we have 3 songs out of 30. it's a start. part of the record will be recorded by Kelly Carcinogen (he's the person who recorded the first 3 songs on Puppybomb EP) yes, you 3 people who own that know who I'm talking about.
Also, the tour is set to go off without a hitch (no I'm not referring to that horrible movie that i love.) We couldn't be happier that L.S.R. set us up with Abstract Artimus, He's helping with booking and is an all together amazing artist(mus). Also R4pe M4chine is jumping on the California dates with us to do a mini-tour. If there's one thing to be faily cirtain of it's that the sickness of this tour is gonna be though the fucking roof. And with this new found "bloging" power you can feel like you're right there with us, but you won't be, so stop pretending and get out there and DIY. or you can just jump in our van. Don't worry, you can trust us, we have candy.

Bogglingly Yours,
Nate Palm
